I have a degree in Social Work by the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa/Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (2002). In the following years, I worked in mental health services.
I postgraduated in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy (2009), awarded by the University of East London (Psychosynthesis & Education Trust), and accredited by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). In the same year, I started my own private practice which runs until the present moment.
In 2011, I collaborated with ICEERS (International Center for Ethnobotanical Education, Research & Service) in helping set up their psychological support service.
In August 2016, I was a Team Leader in KosmiCare (a crisis intervention project for situations of unsupervised use of psychoactive substances in recreational settings) at Boom Festival 2016 – Portugal. In the 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014 editions, I worked as a sitter, providing psychedelic peer support.
I am currently undertaking a Master of Arts (MA) in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy by Middlesex University London (The Psychosynthesis Trust).
